A great success of our Head of litigation in a contentious case involving an allegation of discharge of a guarantor on the basis of the provisions of Section 92 of the Contract Law. Our firm represented the guarantor in various loan agreements between one of the biggest banks in Cyprus and a company which was the principal debtor of the loans. The Court's decision will be considered as an authority since Section 92 of the Contract Law has never been tested and considered so far by the Supreme Court.

Cyprus Arbitration Day is set to take place on the 22nd of May 2023 at the Amathus Beach Hotel in Limassol. The event is organized by the Cyprus Arbitration Forum aiming to bring together international arbitration professionals who wish to keep updated with the most recent arbitral institutional developments and the development of arbitration in the Middle East region.
